Other Useful Information
A scenic picnic area nearby the museum, with tables and
rest room facilities, is available for our visitors. No barbeques or fires
of any kind, please, because of the danger of grass fires. Beware of
rattlesnakes during the warm months!
Drinking water is available in the museum, but we do
not sell any food or drink. The closest restaurants are the Triangle T on
Dragoon Rd., as well as those in Benson to the
west and Willcox to the east - ask for a list at the museum admission desk.
Photography, audiotaping, and videotaping are
prohibited inside the museum. You are welcome to photograph or film
the grounds and building exteriors.
Pets are welcome on
the grounds, but please keep them confined in your vehicle or walked on a leash.
For the safety of both your pet and visitors, do not leave your dog tied up,
unattended, to a vehicle, tree, or post, etc. No pets allowed
in the museum buildings, except service dogs. Please leave your pet home
during Arizona's hot summer months - temperatures soar to deadly levels in a very short time
inside a closed vehicle. Thank you!
