Employment Opportunities

Amerind Foundation Museum and Research Center
Associate Curator for Public Programs

Position Description
The Amerind Museum of Dragoon, Arizona, seeks a dynamic individual to serve as Associate Curator for Public Programs. Under the supervision of the Chief Curator and working with senior museum staff, the Associate Curator for Public Programs will have primary responsibility for developing, scheduling, implementing, and evaluating in-house public education programs that will complement the museum’s research and exhibition programs and will engage the needs of communities throughout southern Arizona. The successful candidate will be a creative thinker capable of conceptualizing and implementing a wide range of public program offerings.  Programs currently offered include workshops, cultural festivals, lectures, symposia, artist residencies, and gallery openings. We expect our public program offerings to increase significantly over the next 2-5 years.
