DESCRIPTION:\nThis two-day workshop is an introduction to encaustic painting and open to beginners as well those with some experience. Encaustic painting utilizes pigmented beeswax. Paint needs to be heated into a liquid to be applied to the surface, the surface is then reheated to fuse the paint. The quality of the surface has a unique sheen and depth.
