7th Annual Texas Canyon Mountain Bike Race –Â Fun Ride & Little Tykes Fun Loop

Come out and join us for an entirely new and improved racecourse that will be 50% single track in and around the famous boulders of Texas Canyon!
Riders can choose from 4 different events:
- The Fulton Full Course: Where racers will do four laps (42 miles) of jeep trails and single track. Start time: 10:00 am
- The Lockett Rocket Short Course: Racers will do two laps (21 miles) of jeep trails and single track. Start time: 10:10 am
Awards will be given to overall winners, male & female, who along with their medals will win a piece of Native American art, and 1st – 3rd place medals to winners in all age categories.

For the Texas Canyon Fun Ride we will have two categories:
- The Friends of Amerind Fun Ride: Fun and non-technical 6.2 mile course that covers much of the Amerind Museum property. Riders will get a chance to challenge themselves on the dirt roads in and around the Amerind, while taking in the sights and gaining bragging rights for their efforts. E-bikes, mountain bikes, gravel bikes are all welcome. This ride is all about fun! This is a non-competitive ride and will not have awards, participation medals are given to registrants. Open to all ages. Start time: 9:00 am
- Little Tykes Fun Loop: Kids 8 and under can have a blast rolling around a short course of approximately .25 miles under mom and dad’s watchful supervision. This is a non-competitive and entirely to let the kids get in on the day’s fun. Participation medals will be given to all little riders! Free to participate. Start time 9:05 am
Once you have completed the race stay for the awards ceremonies. In addition to their medals, the overall winners of the 42- and 21-mile races will receive a piece of Native American art. Enjoy live music with the talented John & Jeanne Ronstadt who will captivate with harmony with voices, guitar, and accordion, performing a variety of musical genres. Grab a bite from La Unica Food truck, then simply show your bike plate number or free guest passes to explore the Amerind Museum and Art Galleries included with registration.
