Visit Amerind’s Mata Ortiz Show and Sale and meet Award-winning potters Hector Gallegos Jr., Laura Bugarini, César Bugarini and for the first time Paula Gallegos Bugarini from Mata Ortiz, Chihuahua, Mexico. Come and meet the artists, learn about their work and have the opportunity to purchase one of their incredible works of art. The artists will conduct demonstrations and firings (weather permitting).

Also, on Friday and Saturday, February 13 & 14, 2026, 10 am-4 pm we will have a book signing with Award-Winning Author Charmayne Samuelson for her Best Seller Mata Ortiz Poetry of the Clay, a full color, bilingual book featuring 24 contemporary potters with original poetry by Charmayne Samuelson.
she will also have her best-Selling biography Spencer MacCallum Memories-Mystique-Mata Ortiz. a biography of the anthropologist who jump-started the Mata Ortiz pottery movement after meeting potter, farmer, and cowboy Juan Quezada.
